*CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES ON SUNDAY MORNINGS *

Train a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not turn from it.
Proverbs 22:6

There is*_ 9:30 a.m. - 10:40 Children’s Worship_*for
Nursery aged children up to and including Grade five.
School age children meet in a large group setting where
they are taught to live out the Scriptures in their
daily lives.  The Word is presented in a fun and
exciting manner.  Children are encouraged to interact
with their teachers.  Our school age children have
leadership roles in the adult worship services several
times a year.  For example they lead the congregation
in responsive readings throughout Advent and Easter
seasons.  Many of our children also belong to choirs
which also aid in their spiritual development.

Between the two morning church services is a
*_transition time_* where children have fellowship with
one another and enjoy a beverage and cookies.

*_Sunday school classes in small groups happen from
11:00 a.m. to 12:10 p.m_*. This fall/winter the children
are being taught from both the Old and New Testament,
through the lifeway's G-Force curriculum @ 9.30 am
and lifeway's Bible Teaching for kids at 11:00 a.m.

Forest Hills Baptist Church has a long history of
caring for and reaching out to the children in the
community.  Come and see for yourself.   You and your
children will be blessed!

Programs for Girls

Pioneer Girls
Program Leader:

Pioneer Clubs is a Christian ministry that’s entirely driven by a passion to evangelize and disciple today’s children. Pioneer Clubs provides programs for churches to sponsor a weekly club ministry for young people from age four Pre-Kinder garden through eighth grade. Pioneer Clubs helps kids have fun, learn new skills, build relationships, study the Bible, and ultimately, learn to live for Christ in every aspect of life. Pioneer Clubs serves over 3,000 churches and over 140,000 children throughout North America.
Pioneer Girls meets every Monday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 PM mid- September through mid-May each year (except when no school or holidays). The purpose of Pioneer Girls Clubs is to teach girls to put Christ into every phase of their life. Each meeting includes a time of singing, crafts, games, service projects and a Bible time. The Pioneer Girls program is broken down into several groups:
  • Scooters (4 & 5 year olds)
  • Voyagers (Grades 1 & 2)
  • Path Blazers (Grades 3, 4 & 5)
  • Challengers (Grades 6, 7 & 8)
The Challengers live up to their name by challenging the world around them and themselves. They enjoy having fun but also enjoy serious talks about the problems they face in their everyday lives There meetings have a more relaxed format with a time to talk and share ideas while doing a craft or learning God's truths in a Bible Exploration.

Programs for Boys

Christian Service Brigade

Christian Service Brigade in Canada is part of an international gender-specific ministry, in which men and women in local churches win and develop children and youth to be disciples of Christ. This action packed, balanced program based on the Word of God, provides purposeful action, meaningful achievement progress, group dynamics, leadership development and opportunities for Christian service.

The ministry operates in local churches of various denominations across Canada, led by faithful godly leaders who have being winning and training young people for Christ for more than 65 years. Recently we received an account of how Christian Service Brigade and our camping ministry started in Canada more than 60 years ago.

Check out this exciting story of what can happen when one man catches a vision of what God can do.

The Christian Service Brigade meets Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. (except when no school or holidays).
